In His House Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian community church located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our name is drawn from Psalm 23:6 — "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" — and from John 14:2, where Jesus promises, "In my Father's house are many rooms." We believe that God's house is a place of welcome, belonging, and eternal hope for every person, regardless of background, nationality, or life experience.
Our mission is to be a true house of God in Hawaii — a place where people from all walks of life can encounter the living God, experience His love and grace, grow in their faith, and find their place in His family. We are committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, building authentic community, and serving our neighborhood and city with the love of God.
We are guided by four core values: Worship — honoring God in all we do; Community — building genuine relationships of love and support; Discipleship — growing together in the knowledge and love of God; and Service — reaching out to our community and world with the practical love of Jesus Christ.
We gather regularly to worship God together through music, prayer, and the teaching of His Word — creating a space where His presence is welcomed and His people are built up.
Our Sunday morning worship service is the centerpiece of our community life. We gather for contemporary, Spirit-filled worship that includes powerful music, heartfelt prayer, and relevant, Bible-based teaching. Our services are designed to be accessible and inspiring for people at every stage of their faith journey — from first-time visitors to long-time believers.
Our Wednesday evening Bible study is an opportunity to go deeper in God's Word in a smaller, more intimate setting. We explore Scripture together, ask questions, share insights, and apply biblical truth to our everyday lives. Bible study is a wonderful way to grow in faith and build meaningful relationships with fellow believers in our church family.
Our Friday night prayer and praise gathering is a powerful, faith-building experience that we cherish as a community. We come together to worship God freely, intercede for one another and our community, and experience His presence in a deep and personal way. Prayer and praise night is open to all and is a wonderful way to end the week in God's presence.
We offer a range of ministries to serve every member of our church family and reach out to our broader community with the love of Christ.
A safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children learn about God's love, build friendships, and grow in faith through age-appropriate teaching, worship, and activities.
Helping teenagers navigate the challenges of adolescence with faith, courage, and community — through weekly gatherings, retreats, service projects, and mentorship.
Creating space for women to connect, grow in faith, and support one another through Bible studies, prayer groups, retreats, and community service events.
Equipping men to be godly leaders in their homes, workplaces, and community through fellowship, accountability, Bible study, and service.
Serving our local community with the practical love of Christ — food assistance, community service, support for families in need, and partnerships with local organizations.
Celebrating the beautiful diversity of Hawaii's multicultural community — welcoming people of all ethnicities, languages, and backgrounds into God's house as one family in Christ.
